American Society of Clinical Pathologist Board Certification Exam

St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteers cover the fee for the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification exam each spring for all students enrolled in the School of Medical Technology program at Affinity Health System.  Upon passing the exam, the students will have the initials "MT, ASCP" following their name.  This means they have completed the undergraduate requirements at a university as well as completed a nine-month internship through our School of Medical Technology program.  The students will receive a check as reimbursement for this expense at their Affinity Health System graduation ceremony.  For information regarding this program, please see Careers > Student Opportunities > Clinical Laboratory Science Program
